Stump Gladstone's 'Origin Stories' is a concept album that plays like a book of aphorisms or short stories. The album consists of 9 separate singles, each introducing different themes of love, alienation, insanity and ultimately the emotions, regrets and pleasures that accompany memories. A major theme in this work, as highlighted especially in the 'The Wanderer' is the theme of absurdity and possibly the affirmation of the stories in themselves being meaningless.    

The album features Stump Gladstone on vocals, guitars, bass guitar, piano and backing vocals - with producer Luc Michaud on drums, bass guitar and backing vocals.  

'Origin Stories' was recorded at Highland Studios in La Salle, ON between 25 October 2024 and 12 March 2025.
